I knit these socks for a secret sock swap, so they live with someone else now. (Hi, Joanna!) The pattern, called Waving Lace, by Evelyn A. Clark, is from the spring 2004 issue of Interweave Knits. The waves are made with simple yarn-overs and decreases. I used buttery camel-coloured (012) Regia Silk sock yarn (55% wool, 20% silk, 25% polyamid) and a 2.25mm circular needle. These socks were knit from the top down, and the only variation from the pattern is the short-row heel.
