Bill wanted socks reminiscent of a vintage Maple Leafs jersey, and these are what he got: top-down socks in worsted-weight Shelridge Farms Soft Touch W4 100% wool (colours: Blueberry and Natural White), knit on a 3.75mm circular needle. I cast on 44 sts., did 15 rounds of 2-by-2 ribbing, increased to 46 sts, did an Eye of Partridge heel, and then decreased to 48 for the feet. This wool is gorgeous, soft, and machine washable. I want to knit myself a head-to-toe bodysuit with this wool.
