Cloverleaf lace socks

August 2004

This pair of "cloverleaf lace" socks kick off the year-long Six Sox Knit-Along. I used stretchy cotton/elastic Cascade Fixation and a 2.5mm circular needle. These were knit from the cuff down (c.o. 60 sts.), with a short-row heel on 60% of the stitches (36 sts.). I'm not crazy about this bright green, and I wasn't crazy about the Fixation. It makes a nice squishy fabric, but I probably won't knit with it again.
